The Obion County Board of Education will meet in regular session October 1, 2012 at Lake Road Elementary School at 7:00 p.m. Prior to the meeting, the school will host the "New Employee Reception," which will begin at 6:00 p.m

Please let Linda Carney know if you will be attending TSBA’s Annual Conference in November.

On October 4, 2012 school will dismiss after one-half day through October 9, 2012, which is fall break. Classes will resume on Wednesday, October 10, 2012.

On October 22, 2012 school will be dismissed for parent-teacher conference for students in grades PK – 8. The conference will be from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Teachers in grades 9 – 12 will attend staff development from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Background Information:

The consent agenda consists of the monthly personnel report, report of substitute teachers, and the monthly financial reports/business activity.

In addition, as of 08/22/2012 the following item(s) has/have been removed from the technology inventory system and taken to the Obion County Recycling Center:

(13) computers
(4) monitors
(1) printers
(1) laptop

All of the above equipment was in non-working condition or of no value due to usage and age. A document describing the equipment is attached.
